Joining the Team

Kylie Clevenger, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Certified

PA-C NCCPA Certified APAOG Member

Kylie Clevenger, PA-C joins the Pelvic Health Institute of Illinois clinical team this September. She will work alongside Dr. Johnson and Michelle Hryc, PA-C at all three PHII offices — Oak Lawn, Oak Brook, and Orland Park. She brings empathy, genuine purpose, and a calling to pelvic health that began well before PA school.

Her Focus at PHII

Kylie will focus on urinary incontinence and women's pelvic health at all three PHII offices — helping patients find the treatment plan that fits their lives, whether that means behavioral strategies, medication, in-office procedures, or, when needed, surgical options coordinated with Dr. Johnson.

She is candid about why this work matters to her. Pelvic health is too often treated as a taboo topic, and Kylie is committed to breaking down those barriers with her patients — naming symptoms out loud and addressing them together. Her favorite part of the work is watching patients feel better in real time and celebrating every win with them, big or small.

“Through empathy and collaboration, we will deliver individualized care that empowers you.”
— Kylie Clevenger, PA-C

Her Path to Pelvic Health

Kylie's introduction to pelvic health came before PA school. As a rehabilitation aide in a physical therapy clinic during her undergraduate years, she saw firsthand how many women live with symptoms they assume they simply have to tolerate — and how much patience and empathy can change that experience. The pull toward this work never left her.

Her women's health rotation in Springfield, Illinois confirmed it. The experience showed her the resilience of the women she cared for, and cemented her commitment to care that keeps each patient at the center — going above and beyond what a standard visit requires.

Her Approach to Care

Kylie provides personalized care built around the whole person. She honors each patient's values and circumstances, and she builds every treatment plan carefully — explaining it in plain, uncomplicated terms, at each patient's pace. Her goal is for every patient to feel welcome and heard, and to know that finding a solution is something patient and provider do together.

Like all PHII providers, her work will be fully coordinated with Dr. Johnson's clinical direction. No care at the Institute is delivered outside of that physician-anchored relationship.
